ABOUT ME

My name is Mariana, I'm a 2D Animator based in Brazil.

I graduated in Cinema Animation and Digital Arts from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) in 2018. In 2021, I completed the Character Animation course at ICS – Innovation Creative Space, refining my frame-by-frame animation skills.

​

I have around six years of experience, during which I have worked on projects such as Rick and Morty seasons 7-8 (Combo Studio/Bardel Entertainment), the Netflix series Strip Law (Copa Studio/Titmouse), Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires (Birdo Studio/Ánima), Super Duper Bunny League (Gigglebug Entertainment) and Krapopolis (Boulder Media).

I also had the opportunity to work with Latin American studios, contributing to the music video Already Dead by Juice WRLD through the Peruvian studio Apus, and to Los Colorado, produced by the Mexican studio Huevo Animation.

 

I'm also experienced in frame-by-frame animation, from rough animation to clean-up. In my previous role at Combo Studio, I worked on Hazbin Hotel and Harold and the Purple Crayon, where I further developed my clean-up skills.

I have experience with Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, After Effects and TVPaint.
